Electric Guitar

This guitar is modeled after the Musicman EVH model crossed with the EVH Wolfgang Edward Van Halen Signature model with some additional touches. The body shape mostly resembles the Musicman model but has some of the asymmetry of the Wolfgang. The electrical control scheme is more similar to the Wolfgang in that the toggle switch is located on the top horn, the addition of a tone control and a killswitch. The pickups are a Dimarzio Air Norton for the neck postion and a modified AT-1 for the bridge position.

Multi-FX Guitar Pedal

The inspiration for this project was the Eventide Harmonizers used on the Van Halen albums during the late 1980's through mid 1990's. The effect of the Harmonizers on those albums was that the guitar tracks sounded fuller. To achieve this fullness, the Harmonizer was set to have a short delay (around a few milliseconds) and the pitch was detuned by a few cents up and down and mixed with the orginal pitch.
